"I had the pleasure of working with Sapana twice. The first time, I asked Sapana to create my reception outfit for my wedding. The design and craftsmanship on the choli and lengha was exquisite! I was so blown away with the embroidery and how the final piece looked. It truly was the perfect outfit for the most important day of my life! Since I had such a great experience with her, I reached out to her to make a dress for me to wear to my best friend's wedding. Since this time I was not going to India, I had relied on sending her my measurements and hoped for the best. Although she was busy planning her own wedding, she made sure to send me updates on the outfit frequently. This shows how much she truly cares for her clients and her work. Once again, she did not disappoint! The outfit she sent me fit me like a glove!! I received many compliments all night! "When I was planning my wedding there was no doubt in my mind I needed something that blended my two worlds of being an American born Indian. I wanted something that still had the beauty and richness of the traditional but with a modern take. An outfit that was catered for me and showed my personality. Granted I knew her well before working with her on my wedding outfit but trust me when I say that she treats all her customers like her friend. You feel so comfortable talking to her and she gets exactly what you are thinking or want without you sometimes even saying a word...just like your best friend. She tells you like it is and will help you sway away from all the clutter of ideas and narrow down the best look for you. I know she takes great pride in all her work but her custom outfits are true couture creations. She is very meticulous and detail oriented and guides you from beginning to the end. Every little touch has her signature but customized to you. To me that is a true designer."

"Sapana has been amazing to work with from the initial inquiry process, up until even after the dress had been delivered. I trusted her to design outfits for my engagement, my mendhi, and my brother-in-law's wedding, and she did awesome! Each time I have worn one of her outfits, I've received numerous compliments from people of all ages. Her work is the perfect blend of traditional and modern so people of all generations can appreciate and relate to it. I had my engagement party months ago and I am STILL getting compliments and requests for the designer's name to this day. Furthermore, she is extremely patient and listens to every idea/suggestion and works with you on even the smallest details. She provides great advice on color schemes, embroidering, blouse cuts, etc. Despite challenges I've had in the past with trying to get a custom outfit made from other designers, working with Sapana on a custom piece was incredibly easy and fluid. She is honest with you about what looks good and what does not. She also works with whatever your timeframe is. For instance, she was able to get my engagement party outfit to me within a month all the way from India, without compromising quality of the outfit (which is practically unheard of). "Sapana Amin was one of my favorite vendors to work with! I had searched high and low for an Indian outfit that I liked, but nothing really spoke to me. I wanted to wear red, but I was looking for something unique and different. When I stumbled across Sapana Amin's Bohemian collection online, I knew I had found my outfit. I love how she combined the raw silk floral top with the funky, vibrant, tribal printed skirt. She was extremely easy to get ahold of via email and responded within two days. "Sapana literally brought my vision for my reception gown to life! The most amazing part was that we not once spoke over the phone, it was all over text communication. Imagine the level of talent when you're able to sketch and create this vision for a client across the world literally based on some photos and a simple vision to start with! The process of designing a custom outfit was super simple with Sapana. I started by sharing some pictures of things I liked and my measurements. I have always had to alter every single on of my ready made outfits because it never fit properly, so I was a little nervous about the fit of the gown since Sapana has actually never seen me in person. My gown literally fit like a glove. I can still remember the overjoyed feeling I had the day it arrived and I put it on!!

Throughout the process, Sapana was really quick with responding back and extremely detailed! She will not stop until she finds the exact material/color/design that I had envisioned for my gown.
